Steps

  1. Switch the dishwasher off and back on again. Messages appear in the display.
  2. Check that the lower spray arm rotates freely and rearrange any crockery that blocks it.
  3. Clean the arm: remove the lower basket, turn the screw thread anti-clockwise and pull the arm upwards.
  4. Push stuck food particles into the arm with a pointed object and rinse thoroughly under running water.
  5. Refit it with the filter combination flat in the base of the wash cabinet, turn the thread clockwise until the arrow in the viewing window points to the lock symbol, and check that it turns freely.
  6. Press OK to confirm each message and start the programme again.

Dishes can also block the AutoDos detergent outlet. Clear the lower basket so the spray jets reach it.
