Error codeF69
ApplianceDishwasher
Quick answer
F69 means the circulation pump is blocked, for example dry and stuck after weeks of not running.
Model compatibility
Miele reuses codes across series and model years, so F69 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What thiscode means
Circulation pump blocked (dry or stuck after long idle periods).
F69 tells you the circulation pump is blocked. After longer breaks between wash cycles, lasting weeks or months, or when the machine is used for the first time, the pump can become dry and stick together.
Soak routine
There is a risk of scalding, so take care with the hot water.
Remove the filter combination from the wash cabinet.
Pour 1 litre of warm water (max. 75 °C) with 3 to 5 drops of rinse aid into the interior and let it soak for 5 minutes.
Start the programme again.
Repeat this 2 to 3 times.
If the fault stays
There may be a technical fault. Switch the dishwasher off, wait a few seconds, switch it on, choose the programme with the Programme button and press Start/Stop.
When the soak does not help, Miele suggests customer service or a repair booking. In Los Angeles call (310) 742-0025, quote F69 and your model, and say how often you repeated the soak. Dishwasher repair has more.
Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
