Error codeF10
ApplianceWasher
Quick answer
F10 on a Miele washer means the water inlet is blocked or restricted. Miele lists the stopcock, inlet filter, hose and supply pressure to check.
Model compatibility
Miele reuses codes across series and model years, so F10 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What thiscode means
Water inlet blocked or restricted.
F10 on a Miele washing machine or washer-dryer reports a blocked or restricted water inlet. Miele lists four things to look at.
1. Stopcock not open
End the wash programme and open the stopcock. Then select the programme and start it again.
2. Soiled inlet filter
Close the stopcock.
Unscrew the water inlet hose from it.
Lift the rubber seal out of its recess.
Hold the loose end of the hose pointing down so the plastic filter drops out.
Clean the filter, put it back and reassemble in reverse order.
Open the stopcock and check the connection for leaks. Tighten it if water drips.
3. Kinked hose
Straighten kinks and loops in the inlet hose and watch those spots over time, since the plastic can weaken and split. Contact Miele Customer Service to replace a damaged hose.
4. Low water pressure
A fully open stopcock should deliver at least 5 l within 15 s. If it does not, call the facility manager or a plumber. When the pressure is too low and cannot be raised, Miele Customer Service is the contact.
