Disconnect the power supply to the hob for approx. 1 minute, then restore it. Miele’s hob support pages describe three ways to cut the power: switch off the circuit breaker, screw the fine-wire fuse out completely, or switch off the residual current device. Then switch it back on. Miele’s operating instructions for the KM 7000 induction series give the same one-minute interruption for an electronic unit fault.
